Allband's History
In 1999, John Reigle, President of Allband Communication, a resident in Allband’s exchange, developed the idea for Allband due to his inability to obtain phone service at his residence. After multiple deaths due to the area’s lack of telephone and 911 services and continual frustrations with the areas closest exchange carrier, John decided it was time to take matters into his own hands.
With advice from Ron Choura, an employee of the Michigan Public Service Commission and adjunct professor of the Michigan State University Department of Information Studies and Media, John began to develop Allband Communications.
John, now President of Allband has a strong board of directors that consists of residents in his exchange area and entrusts Allband’s operations with General Manager Paul Hartman and Operations Manager, Ron Siegel.
