Community Outreach:

As a non-profit cooperative, Allband’s #1 priority is its members and takes pride in being a community company. Since Allband was started by local residents, we feel that it is our responsibility to not only serve the community but to see that it is improved in any way within our power.

As the first educationally orientated phone company, Allband takes a strong stance on education and youth retention in rural northeast Michigan. Allband plans to offer classes and student internships whenever possible to help enhance the technological knowledge of rural Michigan's youth. We hope that these opportunities will show rural youths that new, state of the art opportunities are available in their own towns. Allband already has multiple affiliations with schools and universities and is always looking for new educational institutions to join our outreach programs.

Allband also plans to organize and conduct community training on subjects such as basic computing, Internet use and privacy, telecommunication technology and e-commerce.
